Riding the Wave

Here's a picture I took when my family went to Hawaii!

My favorite place to be! I go there sometimes when I meditate. I visualize myself there on the beach with my toes submerged in the sand as the water washes up over my feet. The smell of the ocean air as it swirls around my body. Aw, can you just imagine what I'm describing in my visual?
Listen to the waves rushing up on the shore and washing back out to sea. Waves hitting up against the rocks, the birds sing. The winds whispering there own song for you to hear. Yes, I'm there already. Hmmmm it's so nice, I go there often.
We all loved going to beach of course. It's been a few years since we all went together. I remember it as if it was yesterday. I loved boogie boarding so much, it was hard to get out of the water and go eat dinner. I kept telling my family just one more wave. Ten waves later, they threatened to leave me there. I got out reluctantly!
I remember this so much because I feel like my life experiences are like riding the wave on a boogie board. I always have a choice in how I approach my experiences. Finding the joy in the journey makes it so much fun! Enjoy your life, it was meant to be that way.

Living Outside the Box

Living outside the box, what an interesting concept. My head doesn't know how to process that one.

A few years ago I was introduced to a training called Impact Trainings www.impacttrainings.com . My friend came over to my house to have Tony drill some holes in some concrete nails. As he was doing so, she talked to me about this training and how it changed her relationship with her husband and her children. I was intrigued by what she was saying. I thought I had a pretty good relationship with my family. However, I was open to taking it to a different level. I'd already made big changes in my life just a few years before.

So, she calls me up later that weekend to ask me if I was still interested in the training! They had an awesome deal on the price. I said yes, if she would get another one of our friends to go too! And of course she got her to go. I was in and couldn't figure a way out of it, at the time. I'm so glad I didn't. It's been an incredible journey every since.

This is where I really got to take a look at living outside the box. I realized for myself, that I'd put such huge limitations on myself in creating what I wanted. I opened myself up to new possibilities that life could be for me. Since then, I have enjoyed a peaceful life. I love spending time with my children.

Attitude says it all. I look for the lessons to be learned and what the Good News is in every experience I have, living life moment to moment. Letting go of attachments I have to money has been a journey all in it's self. This is one area I'm growing every day in. I've been so used to the way my parents handled money. Scarcity has been in bedded into my head. I've always thought of money as my security. I hold on to it for as long as I could, feeling trapped in my up bringing. I know now, it's up to me to brake the chains of this way of thinking.

This is an ongoing experience that I'm looking forward to living. I'm in the process of creating my Life Vision to record and put onto my Ipod to listen to every day. If your interested in what this is about go to my friends website, http://www.letyourlifespeak.biz/ Ann Webb is an amazing woman that has been an inspiration to me to get going on creating my Ideal life. I am the Creator of my life and I can choose what ever I want it to look like. How awesome is that!
